Caseyville Boat Dock & Recreation Area

In 2006, the Union County Fiscal Court acquired 10.99 acres of land located along the Ohio River, known as the Caseyville Access Site, through the Federal Lands To Parks Program of the United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service, for the public's recreational use & enjoyment.

In 2010, the Union County Fiscal Court installed a floating dock located at the site for the promotion of boating, fishing, & recreational activities along the Ohio River.

With the assistance of the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy, Union County Road Department, and citizens of the community, additional improvements were made to create a park like setting.  This includes cleanup of the debris and the addition of grills and picnic tables. This area will continue to be maintained by the County to promote recreation.
